Operation Orders

The Operation Orders section allows Cadre and authorized Cadets to create, manage, and print detailed Operation Orders (OPORDs) for JROTC events and activities.

Operation Orders provide a standardized way to organize event information, including:

  • Mission details
  • Execution plans
  • Service support requirements
  • Leadership assignments
  • Cadet participation
  • Transportation plans
  • Uniform requirements
  • Additional event information

Operation Order List

When opening the Operation Orders section, a table will display every Operation Order created for the selected year.

At the top left, there are two options:

On the top right, there is a search box used to quickly locate existing Operation Orders.

Operation Order Table

The table contains:

Field Description
# Unique Operation Order ID
Order Name Name of the event
Order Date Date the order was created

Operation Order Numbering

Every Operation Order receives an automatically generated ID.

The format is: 000-0000

Example: 001-0000

Competitive Events use a different format: 000-TEAM01

The first section represents the order number.

The second section represents the event type or competitive team identifier.

Competitive events are automatically numbered based on previous orders created for that event type.
