Manage Inventory¶
The Manage Inventory section allows authorized users to manage JROTC inventory, issue uniforms to Cadets, track issued items, and maintain inventory records.
Inventory Dashboard¶
When opening Manage Inventory, the left side contains inventory tools and filters.
Reports and Actions¶
The following actions are available:
Adjust Inventory by NSN¶
Warning
This feature is restricted to Cadre or authorized personnel only.
This option allows direct editing of inventory database records.

Inventory Filters¶
The inventory search filters allow users to quickly find specific items.
Available filters:

| Gender | Filters by Unisex, Male, or Female items |
| MPA Type | Filters by Expendable, Durable, or Non-Expendable |
| Description | Filters by item description |
| Size | Filters by available sizes |
| In Stock | Filters items by available quantity |
| Has Out | Filters whether Cadets currently have the item |
The available options are automatically populated from the inventory database.
Duffle Bag Items¶
Under the filters is a list of standard Duffle Bag items.
These items allow users to quickly view commonly issued uniform items.
Managing Inventory Items¶
On the right side, there is a dropdown:
Select Uniform Item
This dropdown displays every inventory item in the database.
Each item displays:
- Description
- Gender
- Size
- Stock Number
After selecting an item, the system displays:

Inventory Item Information¶
The following fields are available:

| Plain Name | Custom name used to make searching easier |
| Gender | Item gender classification |
| Description | Official item description |
| Size | Item size |
| MPA Type | Inventory classification |
The following fields cannot be edited here:
- Gender
- Description
- Size
- MPA Type
These fields can only be changed through:
Adjust Inventory by NSN
Cadet Checkout History¶
Each inventory item displays a checkout history table.
Fields include:

| Cadet Name | Cadet who received the item |
| Issued | Date item was issued |
| Checked-Out | Date item was checked out |
| Returned | Date item was returned |
The Returned field will display:
KEEP
when the item does not need to be returned.
Printing Uniform History¶
Click:
to generate a report showing the selected item's complete checkout history.
Saving Changes¶
Inventory changes are not applied until clicking:

Issuing Cadet Uniforms¶
To issue uniform items:

Select the Cadet receiving the items.

The Uniform Checkout form will open.
Uniform Checkout Form¶
The checkout form contains:
Issue Item Button¶
Click:
Issue Item
to select a uniform item to issue.
Selecting an Item¶
The selection window displays:

| Qty Remaining | Current inventory available |
Users can search for items using the search box on the bottom left.
Items are sorted alphabetically by default.
The sorting order can be changed by clicking a table header.
Quantity Issuing¶
At the bottom of the selection window:
Quantity Renting for Each
allows users to issue multiple quantities of the same item.
Example:
Selecting: Two Bar
Quantity: 5
will issue five Two Bar items to the Cadet and remove five items from available inventory.
Uniform Checkout Table¶
The checkout table displays:

Adjusting Inventory by NSN¶
Danger
Adjust Inventory by NSN directly modifies inventory records. Only authorized personnel should use this feature.
When opened, this displays the inventory database table where users can:
- Add items
- Edit items
- Remove items
NSN Inventory Fields¶
The database fields include:

| Custom Name | Search-friendly item name |

| Gender | Item gender classification |

| Authorized | Authorized quantity |
| Sufficient | Whether inventory is sufficient |
| Low | Whether inventory is low |
Gender Values¶
The NSN inventory table stores gender using numbers:

- Expendable
- Durable
- Non-Expendable
